In 2004 I took my first trip to Saskatchewan to hunt bear with Brushcreek outfitters. I had no idea what to expect and what I discovered was way beyond my expectations, great food ( and too much of it), a relaxing atmosphere and a guide that kept us entertained the whole time, it was like hunting with a good friend ,and he was my guide too. The bears were plentifully and I shot a great one the first night, by the the fourth night our group had filled all their tags and we had seen so many bears we couldn't believe it.
I returned to bear hunt in 2005 with three other hunters and in three days we were tagged out and counted over fifteen bears! The stands were placed in locations that made shooting opportunities great not only for those of us hunting with guns, but with bows as well. The baits were all very active and exiting. I look forward to returning for what I'm sure will be another great experience.

I came to Saskatchewan with dreams of taking a monster bear with my bow, and Brush Creek Outfitters made that dream come true for me. On the 3rd day of my hunt, after passing up 6 smaller bears, I arrowed a beautiful brown one. When my hunt was done I had lots of time to devote to the excellent fishing in catching the most lake trout and walleye I've ever caught. Not to mention the excellent accomadations, home cooked meals and fish fryes. And at the end of the day to sit back with a cold one, watch the hockey game and relax withthe boys who have become my buddies, (not like the last hunt I was on where I was forced to sleep in tents, swat bugs, and had nothing better to do then stare at each other.)
